IT Support Executive (Cybersecurity)

Description

• To manage and maintain various operation servers including the Active Directory (AD), Office 365, File Server, Email, Application, Database and Web Servers whether it is on-premise or remotely.
• To manage software maintenance and/or updates (window, etc.), Antivirus end point protection and solutions.
• To support and troubleshoot all IT systems inclusive of in-house developed and outsourced such as SQL, payroll, leave, etc.
• To provide 1st level user support such as installing, configuring, testing, diagnosing and solving computer hardware, software, networks, printers, scanners, etc.
• To repair and replace parts or equipment where required.
• To provide support and monitor IT infrastructures such as server, router, firewall, network devices and schedule backup of data and system.
• To provide technical support for end users and setting up accounts for new users.
• To provide support on telephone systems such as voice recording or other settings.
• To perform routine preventive measures and ensure network security including all related cyber security.
• To monitor network usage and health status in compliance with security policies and privacy concerns.
• To support the compliance requirements arising from internal and ongoing audit activities
• To plan and implement security assessment for network, application, systems and recommend the corrective action
• To maintain AD user and security groups as per IT policies and procedures.
• To keep up-to-date with IT security standards and threats development.
• To provide employee security awareness training and compliance standards of the company related to data security and personnel security internal control and so on.
• To remain available during non-working hours to respond to and support critical service issues.
• Other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as advised by immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or related filed or equivalent experience.
• Professional certificate in professional IT & cybersecurity
• Minimum 2 – 3 years of IT related working experience in the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity related solutions
• Knowledge of various security tools/ technologies is added advantage
• Knowledge of IT and security management frameworks and standard is added advantage
• Good command of English with written and communication skills.
• Team player and good time management skills.
• A highly energetic individual who is able to multitask in given role.
• Experience in hardware/software installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge in programming language (Java, PHP, HTML) or web systems is a plus.
• Good computer skills in a Microsoft application such as Words, Excel and Outlook.
